Est. 2018 • Award-Winning Cuisine

Our Story

Founded in 2018, HyperLiquid began as a dream to bring authentic Eastern cuisine to Belgium. Our founders, Maria Chen and David Van Der Berg, having traveled extensively across Asia for over a decade, were inspired by the rich culinary traditions and warm hospitality they experienced in countries like China, Thailand, Japan, and Korea.

What started as a small family venture has grown into one of Belgium's most respected Eastern cuisine destinations. We've maintained our commitment to authenticity while embracing the multicultural spirit of our Belgian home, creating a unique dining experience that honors both traditions.

Our Philosophy

At HyperLiquid, we believe that food is more than sustenance—it's a bridge between cultures, a celebration of tradition, and a way to bring people together.

Authentic Techniques

We use traditional cooking methods passed down through generations, from hand-pulled noodles to slow-braised broths that simmer for hours to achieve perfect depth of flavor.

Premium Ingredients

We source directly from trusted suppliers across Asia, importing specialty ingredients like Shaoxing wine, authentic miso, and hand-picked tea leaves to ensure every dish is genuine.

Cultural Respect

Every recipe tells a story. We honor the cultural significance of each dish while adapting to local tastes, creating an authentic yet accessible dining experience.

Where Tradition Meets Innovation

Step into a world where every corner tells a story of Eastern heritage, crafted with modern Belgian sophistication

Architectural Harmony

Our space seamlessly blends traditional Eastern architectural elements with contemporary Belgian design. Hand-carved wooden screens from Vietnam create intimate dining alcoves, while modern lighting highlights the natural textures of bamboo and stone.

Sensory Journey

The gentle sound of water features, the subtle aroma of incense, and the warm glow of paper lanterns create an immersive atmosphere that transports you to the bustling markets of Bangkok or the serene tea houses of Kyoto.

Cultural Artifacts

Authentic pieces collected from our travels across Asia adorn the walls - vintage tea sets from China, traditional masks from Thailand, and calligraphy scrolls that tell ancient stories of culinary wisdom.

Design Philosophy

"We believe that dining is not just about food, but about creating memories in a space that honors the past while embracing the future. Every element in our restaurant has been carefully chosen to enhance your culinary journey."
